Sales Executive required in Runcorn – £10.26 per hour!

Our client, a local leading name in their industry are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to work at their office in Astmoor, Runcorn.

You will be responsible for contacting new and existing customers with the view of generating new sales opportunities and also creating relationships that help grow company sales. You should be an excellent communicator and have effective people skills. You will present our client’s products over the phone as well as dealing with complaints and resolving issues to maintain customer relations.

Responsibilities include:

• Contact potential and existing customers to inform them about new products, new deals, slow moving stocks etc.

• Answer questions about products or the company

• Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales.

• Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed.

• Enter and update customer information in the database.

• Take and process orders in an accurate manner.

• Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation.

• Go the ‘extra mile’ to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales.

• Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information.

As a Sales Executive, you will be / have?

• Proven experience in business-to-business telephone sales.

• Cold calling and lead generation is a prerequisite requirement.

• Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone.

• Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection.

• Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints.

The job operates Monday to Friday; working 9am until 5pm.

The rate of pay is £10.26 per hour.

This is a temporary to permanent position.
