- CNC Turret Press Operator required in Warrington – £10.36 per hour
Our client, who are specialists in their industry, have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Punch Press Operator to join their successful engineering team at their workshop in Birchwood, Warrington.
You will be responsible for loading and operating a CNC Punch press, as well as a number of other press machines to produce sheet metal parts. You will also take regular measurements of products being pressed to ensure they’re engineered to specification.
As a CNC Punch Press operator, you should have:
- Knowledge of Punch Press tooling, how to change, sharpen and maintain tools.
- Experience with technical drawings and using precision measuring tools.
- Flexible, reliable, self-starting team player with ability to work with little or no supervision
- CAD/CAM Software experience is very beneficial
- Amada, Trumpf, or LVD press experience is very beneficial
Benefits include 25 holidays per year. After the 3 month probationary period benefits include BUPA, pension scheme and healthcare scheme.
The rate of pay is £10.36 per hour dependant on experience.
Hours of work are Rotating Day Shifts. This could also extend to Night shifts during busy periods.
Shift 1 – Mon to Thurs: 6.00am until 2.00pm Fri: 6.00am – 12pm
Shift 2 – Mon to Thurs: 2.00pm until 10.00pm Fri: 12pm – 5.30pm
