- Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver required in Runcorn – £24,000 p/a
Our client have an opportunity for experienced Warehouse Operative to join their successful team at their busy warehouse in Astmoor Industrial Estate, Runcorn.
You will be part of a team helping to ensure that the company fulfils its orders in an accurate and timely manner. This department is at both the start and end of the production process taking in deliveries of raw materials, moving goods between the units, and shipping out the final products to our customers.
You will work alongside the Logistics Team Leader, Administrative Assistants, and Logistics Manager as well as liaising with your colleagues on the opposite shift.
As a successful Warehouse Operative, you’ll have excellent communication and organisation skills. You’ll have good accuracy and attention to detail, and due to paperwork requirements, you must be able to speak, read and write the English language.
It’s also essential you have the following:
- A minimum of three years’ experience working within a warehouse environment.
- A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- A clean driving licence.
- Experience of Hand Scanners
- Reach VNA FLT Licence
Shift 1: Mon to Thurs: 6am to 2pm Fri: 6am to 1pm
Shift 2: Mon to Thurs: 2pm to 10pm Fri: 1pm to 8pm
The salary is circa £24,000 per annum after training period.
Benefits include 23 days holiday per year, plus bank hols, life assurance, pension scheme and annual company bonus paying up to 8% of salary.
This is a permanent position.
