- Stock Administrator required in Runcorn – £10.43 per hour
Our client is looking for an experienced Administrator to work at their office in Manor Park, Runcorn.
As a Stock Administrator, you will be responsible for controlling stock levels, submitting purchase orders and preparing orders/engineer picks for scheduled visits.
Duties include:
- Set and monitor minimum stock levels and replenish accordingly
- Raise and submit purchase orders when requested for purchases and update relevant spreadsheets
- Chase suppliers for lead times if not provided
- Prepare engineer stock picks accurately and in accordance with timescale specified
- Keep engineers/service updated with any lead times or late deliveries
- Highlight any price discrepancies or increases
- Receive all orders accurately on sage, attaching documents to paperwork and sending invoice for processing.
- Process stock returns and complete returns costing
- Submit returned stock report to directors on a monthly basis
- Prepare orders/engineers picks for shipment, completing relevant paperwork and updating shipment log for traceability
- Set new part numbers up accurately with correct supplier and pricing information
- Prepare labels for the warehouse for received products
- Process costing records for parts used on service reports
- Monitor off equipment records
- Calculate sales prices for quotations using pricing matrix/liaising with MD
- Obtain quotes and lead times from suppliers for new products
- Prepare collection and delivery notes for engineers
- Process equipment exchanges and keep goods in updated
- Organise calibrations on engineers equipment
You should be organised, self-motivated with good communication skills. You will be confident working with Microsoft Office packages and ideally have experience using SAGE Line 50 or similar software, and have a high level of accuracy.
The job operates Monday to Friday; working 9am until 5pm.
The rate of pay is £10.43 per hour.
This is a temporary position, covering Maternity.
