- Mechanical Fitter / Service Technician required in Runcorn – £12.00 - £12.50 per hour.
Our client, one of the world’s leading companies in their industry, have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their successful engineering team at their innovative workshop in Runcorn.
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for general fitting and assembly work of bespoke processing machinery. Candidates should have mechanical fitter experience, ideally in a processing facility. Experience overhauling gearboxes, pumps and hydraulics would be advantageous.
Once up to speed on our clients’ bespoke machinery, you will be expected visit their customers’ sites to install and service machines. For this reason, you’ll need to hold a full UK driving licence and SCATS card.
The position currently operates on Days; working Monday to Friday.
Monday – Wednesday: 7am until 4pm
Thursday: 7am – 3:45pm
Friday - 7am – 12pm
The rate of pay is £12.00 - £12.50 per hour, dependant on experience.
This is a permanent role.
