Our client, one of the world’s leading companies in the automotive engineering industry have an exciting opportunity for Workshop Operators to join their successful team at their engineering workshop in Whitehouse Industrial Estate, Runcorn.
 
Your role will be to assist in the Machine Shop department with manufacture of hydraulic systems used in the automotive industry. Duties include loading and unloading components from machines. Once components have been milled, you will be tasked with deburring and quality checking components ready for the next step of the process.
 
As a Workshop Operator, you will need be technically minded, and have a hands on approach to working. Experience working in a technical or manufacturing setting is advantageous but not essential, as all successful candidates will undergo a training programme.
 
This is a temporary to permanent position.
 
The job operates on Rotating Shifts.
Shift 1 - 6am until 2pm
Shift 2 - 2pm until 10pm
Shift 3 - 10pm until 6pm
 
The rate of pay is £8.30 per hour + £7.70 per day Shift Allowance + Overtime.
 
The rate increases to £8.78 per hour + Shift Allowance + Bonus + Overtime after 12 weeks.
