Our client, one of the UK's leading companies in their industry, are looking for a Machine Setter to work on site at their pharmaceutical production facility in Astmoor, Runcorn.
Purpose of Role:
The role of machine setter requires the preparation of machines prior to production to ensure timely and efficient production of high quality product. To perform adjustments mid-production run and perform reactive and planned preventative maintenance to machinery. The role requires a mechanically minded person who can fault find, prioritise and rectify multiple issues on a variety of machinery.
Job Summary & Content:- Change over and set packing lines to meet production requirements.
- Problem solve and resolve issues to optimise each machine in order to achieve maximum output.
- Carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance.
- Always adhere to Company Health and Safety policy and GMP.
- Safeguard the health and wellbeing of yourself, your colleagues and the safety and protection of Company manufactured products.
- Carry out additional duties as required.
Shift 1 – 6am until 2.15pm
Shift 2 – 2pm until 10.15pm
The rate of pay is £15.67 per hour.
This is a temporary position, with opportunities to go permanent for the right candidates.
