Our client, a local engineering firm have an exciting temporary to permanent opportunity for an experienced Workshop Operative to join their successful team at their site in Haydock.
What you’ll be doing- Cleaning manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Dismantling and reassembling equipment for scheduled deep cleans
- Machine minding to ensure the smooth running of the machinery
- Keeping work area clean and tidy
Key details- Job Role: Operating machinery, deep cleaning and processing our client’s products
- Location: Haydock
- Hours: Training on Days then will move to shifts (Current shifts 6am to 2.30pm, 8am to 4.30pm and 1.30pm to 10pm) Candidates will need to be flexible as you will work a mix of these hours through the week.
- Pay Rate: £13.40 per hour regular overtime paying up to £26.80 per hour
- Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated candidates
- Physically capable of carrying out manual cleaning tasks
