Job summary
Are you looking for steady full-time warehouse work with daytime hours and an early finish on Fridays? We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join a busy site in Appleton Thorn, Warrington.
This is a temp-to-perm role, so it’s a great opportunity if you’re looking for something long term. You’ll be joining a busy team where you’ll be kept active with a mix of warehouse duties, picking parts, unloading goods and using Reach and Counterbalance forklift trucks when needed.

Job role: Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver
Location: Appleton Thorn, Warrington
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am–4:45pm, with an early finish on Friday
Job type: Full-time, temp to perm
FLT: Reach and Counterbalance forklift truck work
What you’ll be doing
As part of the warehouse team, you’ll help keep things moving by:
- Picking parts and preparing orders
- Loading and unloading goods
- Carrying out general warehouse duties
- Keeping the warehouse and work area clean, safe and organised
- Using Reach and Counterbalance forklift trucks as required
- Supporting the team with manual handling and stock movement
What we’re looking for
We’d like to hear from you if you have:
- Experience using Reach and Counterbalance forklift trucks
- A current FLT licence
- Confidence doing hands-on warehouse work as well as FLT duties
- A reliable, practical and team-focused attitude
- Good attention to safety and keeping the work area tidy
