Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Router / Wood Machinist to join a busy and well‑established workshop in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist looking for long‑term, stable work with the potential to secure a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities- Operate woodworking machinery, including CNC routers
- Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists
- Manufacture components to precise measurements and specifications
- Carry out quality checks to ensure accuracy and high finish standards
- Report any machinery faults or material issues promptly
- Assist with general workshop duties when required
- Previous experience as a wood machinist or in a similar woodworking role
- Ability to confidently read and understand technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail with high standards of workmanship
- Good understanding of workshop health & safety
- Experience within signage or fit‑out manufacturing
- CNC machine experience
- Competitive hourly rate of £16.00
- Monday to Friday working hours – no weekends
- Temporary to permanent opportunity
