- Permanent Maintenance Engineer required in Knowsley - £20.20 per hour
Our client, a leader in their industry are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team at their site in Knowsley.
Your role will primarily be reactive/fault finding and planned maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities- Preventive Maintenance: Plan and execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
- Reactive Maintenance: Diagnose and repair equipment failures.
- Troubleshooting: Utilize technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in machinery and systems.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in mechanical fault finding reactive maintenance essential
- Experience: Factory Experience, Using Lathes and Milling Machines, and Experience Welding
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support cross-functional initiatives.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to respond to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Safety Consciousness: Strong commitment to health and safety practices and promoting a culture of safety.
Hours of work Monday to Friday Days
The rate of pay is £20.20 per hour
