Welder/Fabricator - Govan - £15.00 to £15.60 per hour DOE Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our client's team in Govan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating aluminium components using TIG welding techniques.

Duties:
  • Perform TIG welding operations on light gauge aluminium (1mm up to 4mm thickness).
  • Utilise hand tools including grinders, sanders, drills, band saw, etc., to prepare materials for welding and finishing.
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings to ensure accurate assembly and welding.
  • Work independently or collaboratively as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Skills:
  • Proven experience with Fabrication and TIG welding techniques.
  • Proficiency in using various hand tools and equipment for metal fabrication.
  • Ability to interpret and work from fabrication drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail to produce neat and tidy welds.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Prior experience with aluminium welding is required.
