- Maintenance Engineer required in Runcorn
Our client is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to work at their manufacturing plant in Whitehouse Industrial Estate, Runcorn.
The role will involve performing maintenance on equipment and plant to ensure it meets production requirements effectively and efficiently at all times.
Responsibilities include:- Attend to breakdowns and diagnose faults
- Conduct Machine overhaul and repair
- Fault find with sensors, probes, and low voltage circuits
- Fault find with three phase and single phase motors and inverters
- Undertake pneumatic fault finding with valves/cylinders
- Carry out PPM work
- Assist with minor project work
- Assist with training of colleagues within the department.
- Oversee specialist contractors
The candidate should be confident with fault-finding and problem solving with a ‘can do’ attitude. They will a mechanical background with an electrical bias with experience working in a manufacturing plant environment. They should be time served with 16th and 17th edition regulations and have experience with PLC’s, experience with Omron, ABB and Siemens will be advantageous.
The job operates on Days; working 7am until 3.30pm.
The salary is negotiable and dependant on experience.
This is a permanent role.
