Electrical Maintenance Engineer required in Runcorn - £19.23 per hour
Our client, a world leader in their engineering technology, are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team at their manufacturing site in Whitehouse Industrial Estate, Runcorn.
Main duties & Responsibilities
- The continuous improvement of the site.
- Accountable for assigned jobs.
- Providing knowledge, experience, and support to install, maintain and repair production equipment.
- Carry out Electrical, Control Work & Maintenance.
- H&S Risk Assessments.
- Maintain MOP’s.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedules.
- Ensure the highest standards within Safety, Quality, Hygiene and Environmental.
- Carrying out reactive maintenance as required.
- Identifying and implementing improvements on equipment.
- Maintaining appropriate computerised and manual records and liaising with various department personnel/suppliers and customers.
Experience and qualifications/knowledge/skills:
- 5+ Yrs. Electrical Instrumentation and controls.
- Time served, minimum 5yrs experience.
- HNC/HND would be advantageous
- IOSH Training
The role operates on a 40-hour week Monday to Friday working 8.30am until 5.30pm with an early finish on a Friday. .
The rate is £19.23 per hour, but negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
