Description

Our client has an exciting opportunity for you to join their team as an Area Sales Manager. The role covers the eastern central belt, Lothians, Edinburgh, Fife & Borders. Joining on a full time, permanent basis (Normally Monday to Friday ), you will receive a competitive salary negotiable dependent upon experience.

Our client is a leading provider of automotive lubricants, oils, and chemicals.

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be building strong relationships with customers and driving sales and growth within your sector, aligned to company plans.

Responsibilities are to:

  • Achieve sales revenue, volume and delivered margin through consultant approach proactive account management
  • Drive and own sales pipeline at distributor and workshop level
  • Identify areas of growth and introduce new products to all customers in line with sales plan
  • Contribute and implement key customer business plans ensuring these are aligned to delivering company objectives
  • Engage with internal departments to achieve key objectives

Skills required of our Territory Sales Manager:

  • 2-3 years sales experience
  • Articulate and numerate
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs plus Salesforce and Phocas
  • Strong, positive, and proactive communicator
  • Flexible
  • Great time management and planning skills
  • Pro-active and can work on own initiative
  • Delivery of presentations and training

Good to have

  • Knowledge of Automotive aftermarket
  • Fluent in English
  • Degree or equivalent
