We have an excellent opportunity for a Quality Assistant position in the South East of Glasgow.

Key duties will include but are not confined to:

o Implementing and monitoring compliance of the Quality Management System (QMS)

o Enhancing customer experience.

o Responsible for all day-to-day quality compliance issues and resolving any process anomalies.

o Investigation and co-ordinating customer complaints, including customer responses.

o Reporting and trending data and putting improvement actions in place.

o Responsibility for running audit system, allocating audits and ensuring they are carried out.

o Chairing customer audits and bringing in other members of staff as necessary.

o Completion of internal audits.

o Agreeing corrective actions after audits and communicating and/or implementing.

o Becoming the Quality Representative with respect to external auditors and customers.

Criteria for the successful applicant:

o Experience in a similar role (Quality, Food Safety, or Technical).

o External training qualifications HACCP, food safety and internal auditing, desirable not essential.

o Experience or knowledge of BRC and customer audits.

o Experience of internal auditing, desirable not essential.

o Good Word and Excel skills.

o Demonstrable organisational skills.

o Ability to work to critical deadlines.

o Effective communication skills.

o Graduates considered.

This is a full time permanent role, Mon - Fri, 37.5 hours.

Paying £22500 - £26500k
