Our client, one of the world’s leading names in their industry, are looking for a Quality Control Technician to work in Whitehouse Industrial Estate, Runcorn.
Responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring and improving a world-class Quality Management System, the ideal candidate will be:
- Qualified to A Level in at least one Scientific or Technical Discipline or equivalent academic and/or professional experience in a similar role
- Have demonstrable experience of foundation Quality Control tools, such as Root Cause Analysis, risk-based thinking, deviation handling and data analysis
- Demonstrated working experience of quality sampling and testing in a production and laboratory environment.
- Confident risk-based prioritisation/decision making ability and improvement-orientated approach.

-Ensuring that customer requirements are fulfilled by continuous analysis of data from the plant, quality checks and supplied product to maintain control over the manufactured product
-Working with the internal and external teams to resolve any issues and reduce risk of non-conforming product being manufactured
- Maintaining control of the QMS processes and procedures (Quality Management System) within the QC department and ensuring that the relevant regulatory, external and internal standards are met
- Ensuring that customer requirements are fulfilled by carrying out the necessary supplied product and production quality checks to maintain control over the manufactured product
- Highlighting of any existing or perceived issues to relevant personnel at the earliest opportunity
- Working with the internal teams to resolve any issues and reduce risk of non-conforming product being manufactured
- Adherence to QMS processes and procedures (Quality Management System) within the QC department and ensuring that the relevant regulatory, external and internal standards are met
Working 39 hours per week, the rate of pay is £17.26 per hour.
This is initially a temporary position. However, there could be permanent opportunities for the right candidate.
