- Production Team Leader required in Runcorn - £26,266 per annum
Our client, one of the UK's leading companies in their industry, are looking for an experienced Production Team Leader to work on site at their state of the art pharmaceutical production plant in Astmoor, Runcorn.
As Production Team Leader, you will support the Shift Leader in managing production and packing staff and ensure the department is run efficiently and in accordance with the production plan.
Other duties include:
- Ensure products are packed safely and meet our MHRA, GMP and ISO quality system.
- Ensure all staff are trained and clearly understand all operations that are performed and have accurate training records.
- Scheduling the shift’s packaging operations to maximize output in line with the availability of materials, with the ability to respond rapidly to changing priorities to meet customer needs.
- Perform GMP line clearances, checking documentation in compliance with appropriate procedures.
- Report daily production figures, monitor efficiencies and implement improvements
- Liaise with all internal and external customers as necessary.
- Ensure Thompson & Capper’s Health & Safety policy is applied at all times
Requirements:
- Have supervisory experience managing a team utilizing both permanent and temporary employees.
- Must possess good numeracy and IT skills, ideally with experience in production scheduling
- Must have strong leadership skills and communicate well at all levels
The job operates Monday to Friday; working Rotating Day Shifts.
Shift 1: 6.00am to 2.00pm, 6.00am to 1.00pm on Friday
Shift 2: 2.00pm to 10.00pm, 1.00pm to 8.00pm on Friday.
The rate of pay is £26,266 per annum.
Bonus scheme of up to 8% paid annually based on company performance (pro rata if start part way through the year)
23 days holiday rising to 25 after 2 years’ service, 26 after 5 years’ service and 27 after 15 years’ service
