- Electrical Maintenance Engineer required in Runcorn - £14.00 - £15.00 per hour
Our client is looking for an experienced and reliable Maintenance Engineer to work on a full-time-basis in their bespoke production plant in Astmoor, Runcorn.
Duties include:
- Provide effective engineering support to ensure all manufacturing areas operate efficiently.
- The repair and maintenance of all plant, machinery and ancillary equipment on shift.
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules, ensuring plant operation is optimised and serviceability and machine lifecycle is achieved
- To keep downtime of production machinery down to a minimum.
- Ensure safe working and safe working conditions for plant and machinery operation.
- Undertaking of specific projects as directed by the Engineering Manager / Other Manager.
- Employ the process of continuous improvement and culture change in order to create and maintain a best-in-class manufacturing facility.
- Demonstrate multi-skilling and the timely response to maintenance activities.
- Commit to training and personal development.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following attributes:
- Production maintenance engineering background.
- Mechanical and Electrical maintenance expereince with an electrical bias.
- Hold engineering-related qualifications or be time-served.
The job operates on Monday to Friday; working weekly Rotating Day Shifts. You must however have a flexible approach to hours of working as dictated by the needs of thebusiness.
Shift 1 – 7.00am until 3.00pm
Shift 2 – 8.30am until 4.30pm
Shift 3 – 10.00am until 6.00pm
The rate of pay is £14.00 - £15.00 per hour, dependant on experience.
This is a temporary-to-permanent position.
