- Stock Controller required in Widnes – Competitive Salary!
Our client is looking for an experienced Stock Controller to work at their office in Widnes.
As a Stock Controller, you will be responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing material in and out of our client’s plant and ensure that everything is accounted for and logged onto their database.
Duties include:
- Maintain records for incoming and outgoing stock on the company database.
- Export data from the weighbridge system and ensure all load information has been logged, and produce daily weighbridge reports.
- Produce compliance documents for incoming loads.
- Create load breakdown summaries for incoming loads and pass to accounts for payment.
- Match up supplier and broker invoices with paperwork and pass for payment
- Produce weekly reports to show volumes of product in and out of the plant.
- Perform bi-weekly stocktakes and record stock levels and check against database levels.
This role is mainly office based, but you should be comfortable visiting plant areas to gather data required for stock control.
You should be organised, self-motivated with good communication skills. You must be computer literate and have a high level of accuracy with an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
The job operates Monday to Friday; working 9am until 5pm.
The rate is dependent on experience.
This is a temporary position with long term opportunities.
