After recent expansion, our client, a leading name in their industry have an exciting opportunity for Vehicle Shunter / Inspector to join their successful team at their engineering workshop in Birchwood, Warrington.
As a Vehicle Shunter / Inspector, you’ll be dealing with drivers and customers on a regular basis so good customer service and communication skills are essential. To be considered for this role you must hold a Clean, Full UK Driving Licence and competent driving 3.5 tonne vans.
Your role will be to check vehicles in and out of our client’s premises. You will be conduct visual inspection reports for vehicles as they’re checked in, and then complete final inspection reports of vehicles after work has been carried out before handing over to the customer. You will report any issues to the engineering team.
The position operates Monday to Thursday working 8am until 4.45pm and Friday 8am until 3.30pm.
The rate of pay is £9.00 per hour.
This is initially at temporary-ongoing position, but there will be permenant opportunities for the right candidates.
