- We are currently seeking a skilled Weld Dresser/Polisher to join our clients team in creating high-quality metal products. The ideal candidate will have experience in using power tools and hand tools for polishing and finishing metal surfaces. This is based in Cumbernauld.
Monday-Friday Dayshift
Pay rate negotiable depends on experience.
Duties:
- Polish metal surfaces to a smooth finish using power tools and hand tools
- Weld and fabricate sheet metal components as needed
- Perform stick welding to assemble metal parts
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to ensure precise polishing and assembly
- Assemble finished components accurately
- Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for polishing
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques
- Mechanical aptitude for precise assembly of metal components
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
