- Customer Service Specialist – Airfreight
Location: Hillington, Glasgow
Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Salary: £26k-28k depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and promptly respond to queries from generic email boxes, ensuring timely communication with customers and service providers.
- Arrange collections with vendors and prepare/manage shipping documentation using Tango, including MAWB and HAWB.
- Ensure all export entries are in full compliance with UK HMRC regulations.
- Oversee flight postings, job file invoicing, and cost control measures.
- Investigate and resolve customer and supplier queries and complaints efficiently.
- Assist sales and customer service management during customer visits as needed.
Skills Required:
- Industry Experience: Looking for 3-5 years experience within the airfreight or logistics industry is required.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills are essential, with a focus on service excellence.
- Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational abilities with the capacity to prioritize and manage high workloads, especially under challenging circumstances and tight deadlines.
