Senior TIG Welder / Pipefitter required in Widnes - £17.50-26.25 per hour!

Our client, who are specialists in their industry, have an exciting opportunity for an experienced TIG Welder / Pipefitter to join their successful engineering team at their workshop in Widnes, Cheshire.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform TIG welding on various metal components and structures
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements
• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding techniques based on the project
• Inspect welds for accuracy and quality, making any necessary adjustments or repairs
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines at all times

As a minimum you will need to have:

• Proven TIG Welding & Pipefitting experience.
• Supervisory experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to read technical drawings.
• 6G Certification is desirable but not essential.

This is a permanent position, with real opportunites for progression!

Our client offer a competitive hourly rate (a minimum of £17.50 per hour) which is dependant on experiencewith regular overtime available paying from £26.25 per hour.

The job operates Monday to Friday (Mon-Thu 8am until 4.30pm, Fri: 7am until 3.30pm) but some flexibility is required when needed.
