Description

Our client is seeking with Quality Management experience within the Safety, Risk and Compliance department in their headquarters office based in Glasgow city centre.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently administer the client's ISO management systems.
  • Oversee SHE, Risk & Compliance administrators.
  • Manage operational efficiency of Team management systems, including incident reporting, vehicle incidents, asset tracking, and safety inbox.
  • Supervise the client's electronic safety and risk audit and training system.
  • Prepare and submit industry awards submissions.
  • Perform additional administration tasks as directed by the Head of SHE, Risk & Compliance.

Liaising With: Head of Safety, Risk & Compliance, General Managers, Regional Directors, Department Managers, Heads of Department, Major Account Team, SHE, Risk & Compliance team, or as specified by Line Manager.

Ideal Capabilities:

  • Conduct audits with diligence and independence.
  • Maintain ISO and safety certifications.
  • Ensure operational efficiency of SHERC management systems.
  • Support SHERC administrators.
  • Demonstrate strong writing skills for procedural and business documentation.
  • Meet deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Prioritize system administration matters.
  • Provide reports to standard and schedule.
  • Commit to personal and professional improvement.

Required Skills:

  • Quality tools and ISO 9001:2015 experience.
  • Auditing Quality Management Systems.
  • Team leadership and management experience.
  • Independent work with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication and listening skills.
  • MS Office Suite and QMS tools proficiency.
  • Decisiveness, sound judgment, influencing, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on objective delivery.

Desirable Skills:

  • Lead Auditor of ISO systems (e.g., ISO14001, 9001, 45001).
  • Knowledge of Plant and Tool Hire or Construction Industry.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience in analyzing and utilizing customer-focused reporting systems and processes.
