- Food Process Operatives required in Runcorn – £9.00 - £9.50 per hour
Our client, a world-renowned leader in their field, have a great opportunity for experienced Food Process Operators to join their successful team at their production facility in Runcorn.
As a key member of the processing team, you will be responsible for processing a range of materials from food ingredients to chemicals. Duties include operating state-of-the-art powder processing machinery, completing related paperwork as well as ensuring a clean and safe working environment. Duties can extend to operating a Counterbalance forklift truck if candidates hold or have held a counterbalance licence.
Candidate must have previous process operating experience, be comfortable with heavy lifting, and willing to work in a dusty environment. Previous experience within the food production industry would be advantageous, but is not essential.
The rate of pay starts at £9.00 per hour, rising to £9.50 per hour for candidates with forklift licences. There are also opportunities for progression.
The position operates on Continental Shifts Working two days (7am until 7pm), two nights (7pm until 7am), then four days off.
This is a temporary, but on-going, position, with the opportunity of a permanent job for the right candidate.
