Trainee IT Technician required in Speke, Liverpool – £10.50 per hour

Our client, a global electronics manufacturer, have an exciting opportunity for an Trainee Technician to assist with the manufacture of refurbishment of their hardware at their site in Speke, Liverpool.

The role involves working within a small team in a workshop environment.

Duties include:

• Helping to prepare refurbished ICT systems for sale

• Disassembling test systems down to the chassis

• Cleaning, repairing & replacing parts

• Reassembling to a like-new condition

• Diagnosing and repairing faulty components

• Soldering / De-Soldering

• Installing and servicing ICT systems

You must have:

• HNC / HND in electronics engineering or a good understanding of Electronics

• Some mechanical experience

• Strong self-organisational skills

• Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines

The ideal candidate will have:

• Keen problem-solving skills.

• Good PC skills

• Good communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• The ability to work independently and efficiently

• A Driving Licence - Candidate should be willing to travel to customer sites for installations and servicing when required.

The job operates Monday to Friday, working 8:30am until 5pm with early finishes on a Friday! Plus opportunities for overtime!

The salary is £10.50 per hour

This is a permanent position.
