Trainee Screen Printer required in Runcorn. – £9.50 per hour

Our client, a leading name in their industry, are looking for a Trainee Screen Printer to join their successful manufacturing team at their manufacturing site near Astmoor, Runcorn.

Previous screen-printing experience will be an advantage but not necessary as training will be provided.

Our client is looking for someone with:

• High accuracy and great attention to detail
• An eye for colour
• The ability to work on their feet for long periods of time.
• Comfortable completing paperwork

Duties include:

• Setting up, calibrating, and operating both manual and automated screen-printing machines.
• Mixing ink colours
• Creating prints in accordance with customer requirement.
• Complete quality checks and complete related paperwork.
• Perform regular maintenance and housekeeping on printing devices, equipment, and machines.

The job operates Monday to Friday working a fixed day shift butwilllead to working Rotating Shifts.

• Mornings: 6:45am until 2:30pm
• Afternoons: 2:30pm until 10:45pm
• Nights: 10:30pm until 6:30am

The rate of pay starts at £9.50 per hour with opportunity to rise.

This is a temporary to permanent position
