Description

We are looking for a Product Controller to maintain and update the product database. Duties include updating pricing, chemical compliance, and storage conditions.

The Product controller will be responsible for ensuring that the products the company sells meet certain standards of quality, reliability and value. They work diligently to ensure that all aspects of a product’s life cycle—from design to production to sale—are handled in an efficient and effective manner. Product controllers may also be tasked with managing inventory levels or overseeing the flow of goods through various stages of production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collate all required documentation and information from suppliers to complete new product set-up in management system.
  • Work closely with Regulatory Affairs Manager to ensure all products comply with current chemical regulations within Europe and the United Kingdom.
  • Action changes to product database when required and communicate these updates across the relevant departments.
  • Liaise with and provide support for various departments to ensure queries are handled efficiently.
  • Review of internal processes to assist in ideas for continual development.
  • Assigning of commodity codes as and when required.

Skills/Experience

  • Experience in data processing.
  • Knowledge of REACH and ROHS desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of commodity codes desirable but not essential.
  • Attention to detail is vital
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload
  • Self-motivated with ability to take initiative
  • Proven planning and organisation skills
