We have a great opportunity for someone to work as a Production/Warehouse Operative, fulfilling orders, labelling goods, printing, and running embroidery machines.
NOTE: This site cannot be reached via public transport so ideally need someone who can drive or get there without public transport. Please check postcode before applying.
Our client is looking for someone who has had experience in production but also some creative experience within producing/designing clothes, the latter is not essential but fulfilling orders, producing on a large scale, great customer service, some screen printing and heat press skills would be more than beneficial.
The skills that are required:
• Understanding the English language – being able to speak/ read and write.
• Good natured and positive energy.
• Good time management and well organised.
• Basic/Intermediate computer skills
• Experience with online platforms – Shopify, Etsy, eBay, and Amazon (Some training will be given)
• Screen printing (Full training given)
• Embroidery machines (Full training given)
• Laser cutting machines (Full training given)
On a day-to-day basis, you will be required to:
• Pack up goods and label them – to send to Amazon warehouses.
• Fulfilling Amazon orders (50-100+ a day)
• Fulfilling orders on Etsy, if unsure how to use this platform, don’t worry it is easy to pick up, and our client can give you training. If you know how to work Adobe Illustrator and photoshop that would be an advantage, if not, again it is easy to pick up and they can train you.
• Engraving bits of wood and plastic, printing t-shirts, caps and other clothing.
• Our client would like you to have some sort of experience and ability to talk to and message customers. Their business involves a lot of communication with the customer. They would like you to be free and find it joyful talking to customers.
• Receiving in deliveries. Matching up delivery notes with the goods and labelling up the box.
• Getting ready for goods to go out.
• Screen printing bags – some knowledge on how this works.
• Running embroidery machines
• Using a heat press for caps and t-shirts
• If you are good with numbers that would be a bonus and any level of experience in working in the production area.
Hourly rate £10.50 per hour
Hours of work 9am – 5pm and 30mins lunch break
