Process Operator / Forklift Driver required in Wigan - £27,404 per annum!
Our client is looking for experienced Chemical Operators to batch manufacture of their products at their busy production facility in Pemberton, Wigan.
The role involves:

Processing, weighing, and mixing/reacting chemical ingredients.

Monitoring of equipment during the chemical process
-
Recording information to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency

Reporting observations during the manufacturing process
You must have:
-
Forklift truck licence and experience.
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-
Numeracy skills.
-
The ability to work well in a team.
Experience with the following would be beneficial:
-
Working in a chemical / process type industry
-
Working on a COMAH site
-
Understanding of chemical processes
-
Troubleshooting issues with production equipment and processes
-
Good understanding of sampling and product testing
-
Educated to NVQ level 2 in relevant subject

IOSH Managing Safely
The role operates Monday to Friday, working 6am until 4pm.
The rate of pay is £27,404 per annum.
This is a permanent position.
