Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a CNC Turner role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting and operating CNC horizontal lathes (Mori Seiki and Leadwell).
  • Working between various different CNC machines within your work area.
  • Machining valve and gauge components to a delivery date, whilst always maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Controlling and editing CNC programs (FANUC).
  • Training in the development of new staff where necessary and appropriate

Ideal Requirements

· Time served CNC turner/machinist.

· FANUC editing and setting experience.

· Experience of working with Stainless Steel and exotic materials such as Hastelloy C276, Duplex, Incoloy etc.

· Must be able to read and understand Engineering Drawings.

· Can adapt and thrive in a high-pressure engineering environment.

· Eager and a willingness to learn.

Rotating shift pattern

2 weeks Early shift followed by 2 weeks Back Shift

Early Shift – Monday to Thursday 06:00 – 14:15 Friday 06:00 – 11:10

Back Shift – Monday to Thursday 14:15 – 23:00 Friday 11:10 – 14:30

Hourly Rate – £14.51 - £15.75 per hour + 20% shift allowance

(36 Hour week)
