Mailroom Supervisor required in Stockport - £23,088 per annum.

 

Our client is looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to coordinate their mailroom team at their site in Stockport.

 

The role is to oversee the Operations and Supervisory team within the Production department. This will involve liaising with other departments to ensure we fulfil and continually improve our processes and customer orders safely, on time and within Compliance/Quality and cost guidelines.

 

Responsibilities:

 

· Create and maintain a Department with a motivated workforce.

 

· Coordinating teams in maintaining a methodical and organised approach.

 

· Follow safe working practices to achieve a safe and healthy working environment.

 

· Ensure all staff are trained and follow Company policies and guidelines.

 

· Set clearly defined objectives for the team in team briefings

 

· Communicate effectively with other departments

 

· Employee training and development

 

Our client is looking for someone with:

 

· Previous experience supervising and motivating staff.

 

· Experience of planning workload and resources.

 

· Good communication skills.

 

· A ‘can do’ attitude

 

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment

 

· Problem-solving abilities

 

· Able to handle customer concerns in a courteous manner and offer resolutions

 

The role operates Monday to Friday, working 7.30am until 4pm (40 hours)

 

The salary is £23,088 per annum
