Mechanical Engineer required in Runcorn

Our client, one of the world’s leading companies in their industry, are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to work at their manufacturing plant in Preston Brook, Runcorn .

The purpose of the role is to implement essential professional Maintenance standards for the plant and to deliver specific project improvements.

Responsibilities include:

• Attend to breakdowns and diagnose faults
• Conduct Machine overhaul and repair
• Fault find with sensors, probes, and low voltage circuits
• Fault find with three phase and single phase motors and inverters
• Undertake pneumatic fault finding with valves/cylinders
• Carry out PPM work
• Assist with minor project work
• Assist with training of colleagues within the department.
• Oversee specialist contractors

You will be a degree qualified engineer or equivalent, and hold an IOSH certificate. IT Skills and a high degree of numeracy are essential. Experience working within a WCM environment and undertaking professional maintenance would be an advantage. You will be self-motivated, results focussed and be able to achieve results as part of a team.

The job operates on Days.

The salary is £38,000 per annum.

This is a permanent role.
